             Hiring and Onboarding Process

Candace Goff, Director, reviews all applicants weekly.  If you are selected for an interview, you will receive an email or a notification in your indeed account.  She hosts interviews Monday through Thursday from 9:00 am to 2:00 pm.

Each Friday job offers are made to the candidates that were selected.  

​

Once the job offer is made, job applicants will be coached on the pre-start date requirements, including the required background check and other state required tasks to ensure full State of Missouri Compliance.  It is very important that applicants follow these steps and focus on getting all tasks completed to ensure that employment can continue.  Once an employees file is considered "non-compliant", the employee cannot continue to attend work until their file is fully compliant.

During the first two weeks of employment, the new hire will go through a 2 week onboarding process.  This process includes spending time in classrooms with very experienced teachers.  The newly hired teacher will be given a very specific on-boarding plan, including center and classroom assignments for the two week period, a list of tasks to complete to ensure file compliance, and a list of skills that the new teacher should be working to learn.  This onboarding document must be turned back into the office, and is also used as your timecard for the two week period.  It is crucial that newly hired employees keep track of this document!  It is to be turned into the office on the last day of the two week onboarding period.

The entire mission is to learn to how to ensure manage a classroom that is State of Missouri licensing compliant, and that follows Courtyard's policies and classroom management expectations.  This two week time frame is a great time to develop bonds with the children, learn how to enjoy the day, and really provide a GREAT experience to our kiddos each day!
