Policy Expectations

• Accountability - be accountable for yourself and your classroom.  Teachers are the leaders.  

• Avoid over communication that causes unnecessary issues - when you have a concern that you feel should be addressed with a parent, the proposed conversation must be cleared with a person in charge prior to the conversation with the parent being held.

• Teachers must follow our attendance policy 

• No cell phones while the children are awake 

• Follow our dress code (no sweatpants, no pajama pants, no short tight shorts)

• Basic Care- teachers must consistently keep the kiddos clean!   wipe noses, fix hair, etc.

• Cleaning - we clean our classrooms twice a day.  There is a list posted in the classroom, and if a teacher can't find it can get one from the office.  

• Schedule alteration's must be requested at least one week in advance.  We rarely tell teachers they can't take off, however, we need time to review and plan!   

• Follow ratios:  Don't leave your co-teacher out of ratio.  Other than to go to the bathroom, teachers should remain in their classrooms.  Activities material collection and less planning should be done during nap time.  

• Teachers need to provide supervision
